Why I Built This
I was teaching myself Spanish.
Books helped the most, but every page introduced 10+ new words. I kept switching between Google Translate for immediate translation and google searches for good definitions and usage cases, typing, trying to understand, then forgetting everything minutes later.
There was no single place to save, understand, and review the words I found while learning a language or reading books. I couldn’t carry the big vocabulary book everywhere, and most language apps force you through fixed lessons that don’t fit real life.
That’s when it hit me — most people pick up their phone 96 times a day — and VocabFlow uses that fact to your advantage. Our smart, randomized notification system gently reminds you of your words across the week — so you never forget them. It doesn’t spam. It nudges. And it works.
